I announced that I’d be self publishing my next book on Instagram about two weeks ago and I got some really warm responses to the premise.
The title is Otaku Hearts, and it’s my love letter to anime, of sorts.
I wanted to write about a character who was so influenced after watching anime that it changes her life.

A publisher reached out to me that same day to take a look at the manuscript! I couldn’t believe it. It’s still in their hands and I’m yet to get a response. No matter their response, Otaku Hearts will be published.

Initially, I planned to publish the book December 15th, on World Otaku Day. If it ends up getting picked up by the publisher, that might Change.
For now I’ve decided to commission some character art so I can market the book.
