Dawsk is Out!

I’m an author! And my first book is a romance novel! It is fitting I guess. I grew up reading romance novels.

I read a lot of romance growing up. Harlequin and Silhouette books. Boy were those stories amazing. I’ve always been a romantic, still am.
So when I was like 18 I decided to write a romance novel with African characters. Dawsk was created and now its my debut novel. I’m an author. Just like the amazing authors I read while growing up. It’s just fantastic.
If you’re a writer just starting out and doubting yourself, don’t give up. Keep at it. Read, research, submit your manuscript everywhere. Don’t let rejections hold you back. Those are just the stepping stones to glory. Also, write what you Want to read. That’s one of the best advice I’ve ever gotten.
